Stafford has developed three non-credit courses designed toenhance the skills necessary for success in any academic or business setting. .
Level I. Using the Computer - Programmed Study
This course is about the use of the computer as an academic and business tool for information gathering. It is intended to serve as an introduction for those whose information gathering skills are still at an elementary to intermediate level. The Programmed Study modules introduce you to various helpful resources available free of charge and provides high-quality hands-on practice together with up-to-date information about the latest software programs in business analysis and education. The modules are reviewed and revised on an ongoing basis.
Level II. IT Fundamentals
This is an advanced interactive study package designed to introduce information and communication technology concepts to students doing advanced research. Each unit represents in itself an exciting interactive experience in learning, delivered via the latest telematic technologies.
Topics covered include hardware, software, information representation, computer languages, information systems and networking. Each module concludes with interactive exercises and self-test quizzes
Level III Using Business English
Stafford has developed a program
specifically geared to international business students whose native language is not English. It's called Business English As A Second Language. Students have access to a complete interactive and collaborative
program for enhancing their oral and written fluency. Emphasis is placed on developing the student's business vocabulary in
particular..This is a major language course - consisting of over 100 hours of interactive and
focused lesson materials that cover as well all the language skills you will need to
complete your BBA or MBA succesfully.
These courses are not obligatory and can be taken at any time concurrently with other courses. They are offered to registered
students at no charge.
